We place on the altar our worries, petitions, desires and wishes so you can bless them, Lord.

* We ask you on this day of Christ the King, so that you, Lord, can be king of our lives and that everything that happens to us, can be in your company.

* So that we do not become distracted with gods like order, money, work, perfection, prestige or power.

* So that for all believers in you, Lord, can be the faithful companion of our days and nights, of our rest and work, of our enjoyment and suffering.

* So that all those who hold positions of worldwide responsibility are moved with the values of the kingdom so as to bring about a greater level of justice in the world.

* So that, finally, authentic truth is established amongst human beings as the code of communication and authenticity so that we can lead better lives.
